As an active heritage building, we aim to preserve the physical appearance of the Mosque with minimum intervention of the already stunning architectural quality by F. Silaban. The main concept of the revitalization is "rahmatan Lil 'Alamin", updating the outdoor space of the mosque which interacting with the current surrounding area (macro context). Bringing back strong Axis to National Monument (Monas), providing public plaza, and creating a large terrace as an attempt to make the mosque more public friendly.
